      DETAILED ITINERARY:
       
     

    Day 1: Panama City
    Upon arrival our representative will meet assist and transfer you to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure.

    Day 2: Panama City
    Breakfast. Guided trip to the most important places and characteristics of Panama. You will have a pretty good vision of Old Panama City, the Colonial or "Casco Viejo" and the modern areas of Panama.Walk around Old Panama City, destroyed by pirate Henry Morgan in 1671; buy souvenirs at the Handicrafts Market there. The tour continuous to the traditional and commercial areas, banking area, and the modern Panama City, follow by a visit to the Colonial area or "Casco Viejo" through the stretched streets, plazas and public parks, where still conserve part of our history, as France Plaza, Las Bovedas, San Jose Church , with it's wonderful altar (all made of gold), the Flat Arc, and Cathedral Church, as others. Also, you will appreciate the biggest engineering structure of this century, considered the "Marvel of the World Number 8". Learn about it's function and history. You could see the vessels as they transit through the Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal. Return to the hotel. Free afternoon to take one of our “Optional tours from Panama City. Note: Light clothes, comfortable shoes, sunscreen are suggested.

    Day 3: Panama City – Gamboa Rainforest
    Buffet breakfast. Transfer to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort (45 minutes approx), an unique combination of luxury and exuberant natural beauty. The resort lies on the banks of the historic Chagres River, on the Panama Canal. A highlight for any visitor to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort is a ride on its spectacular Aerial Tram Rainforest Canopy Tour. Beginning on the forest floor, you' ll glide silently up and into the rainforest canopy where you'll encounter species of flora and fauna rarely seen by visitors on the ground. An interpretive guide will point out the species of plants, birds, and animals hidden in the lush forest while you enjoy a birds-eye view of the Soberanía National Park. In the afternoon you will visit the Gamboa Rainforest Resort's Ecological Fauna & Flora exhibits, with visits to the Butterfly House, the Snake Exhibit, Cayman & Cocodriles Exhibits, an Orchid Nursery and the Embera Indian Village. The tour through the educational exhibits last about an hour and a half. This gives you an average of twenty minutes per exhibit except for the model Indian village where we allot half an hour. Each exhibit is manned by a member of our knowledgeable staff. (B)

    Day 4 & 5: Gamboa Rainforest Resort
    Buffet breakfast. Free days at leisure to relax and enjoy the activities the resort offers, including the Spa. You may experience the real- life adventures like hiking Las Cruces Trail, investigating the Panama Canal (one of the greatest engineering achievements of all time), fishing on Lake Gatun, kayaking on the Charges River abd practicing water sports. The Resort also offers health treatments, massages and body wraps, hydro and aromatherapy, Jacuzzi, steam baths and a beauty salon at its SPA and Fitness center. (B)

    Day 6: Gamboa Rainforest Resort – Contadora Island
    Buffet breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Contadora Island. After a short flight from Panama City, you will touch down on a beautiful palm laden island. Upon arrival one of our representatives will escort you to the hotel. Balance of day at leisure. (All Incluisve)

    Day 7: Contadora Island
    Free day at leisure. Fronted by a flawless beach, the low-rise French colonial accommodation and the resort's two pools are nested among perfectly tropical greenery and gardens.Contadora attracts people from all around the World offering luxury accommodations, gourmet dining, entertainment, golf, tennis and 16 glorious beaches. Along with swimming and spells of suntanning, the beautiful beach is also perfect for watersports and you'll find rentals at Captain Morgan's Watersports Centre about a two minute walk away. The waters of the Pearl Islands offer great SCUBA diving and some of the world's best salt water fishing. Dining options include a delightful terrace barbecue, a romantic beachfront seafood restaurant, the lovely Las Palmas restaurant which overlooks the sea, and even a spot for pizza and pasta lovers. The island is a true romantic escape and you'll find lots of pockets of privacy for time alone. The casino brings blackjack, roulette and slots, while three tennis courts await fans of this popular game. During the day there is an organized activities programme, while balmy, starlit Contadora nights feature dancing, live shows and musical entertainment for your pleasure. (All inclusive)

    Day 8: Contadora Island -Panama City - USA
    Breakfast. Our representative will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport at the indicated time for your flight back home.(B)
