      DETAILED ITINERARY:
       
     

    Day 1: Quito
    Upon arrival our representative will meet and escort you to the hotel. Balance of day at leisure.

    Day 2: Quito - Jardin Aleman Amazon 

    Breakfast. This morning your comprehensive city tour includes visits to residential neighborhoods at the northern end of the city, visiting the Guapulo Mirador, passing through the 12 of October Avenue up to the Culture House and the Legislative Palace (Congress) where the rock murals that are related to the history of Ecuador can be appreciated. The tour will then continue through the Gran Colombia Avenue up to the Basilica Church, where you will make a brief stop and next, the San Juan Mirador from where you will have a beautiful sight of The Colonial Quito. After walking through the colonial streets you will then stop at the Independence Plaza admiring the Cathedral, the Governments Palace, and the Archiepiscopal palace. Furthermore, you will visit The Company Church where adornments and gold altars can be appreciated, a visit to the Sagrario Church and San Francisco Church, which was built during the 17th century. And then, you will be heading to the Panecillo Mirador, the most famous hill of Quito, from where a sight of the colonial and modern Quito will be taken. You will then be heading up to the Middle of the World City where the monument that divides the Northern Hemisphere from the Southern one will be visited. It was built during the XVII century when a French Expedition defined the precise location of the equatorial line. The Ethnographic Museum can be also be visited. In the afternoon you will be transferred  to Jardin Aleman Lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The Lodge is located on the banks of Misahuallí River, a tributary of Napo River in the Peruvian Amazon. Dinner at the lodge.

    Day 3: Jardin Aleman Amazon
    Breakfast. This morning departure from the beach of the Lodge on a canoe ride on the Misahualli and Napo River. Visit to Indians earning their live by gold panning. Arrive to the protected forest "Misucicha" of the Jungle Lodge El Jardin Aleman and hike in the forest. Admire the extraordinary flora and the exotic sounds of the primary rainforest. If you are lucky see toucans, oropendulos, parrots and small monkeys. Your local Indian guide will explain you flora and fauna of the Amazon Region with special emphasis to medicinal plants. Lunch in a typical hut with a wonderful view over the Napo river. Embark the canoe and ride upstream to visit the Indian village Muyuna and see how to prepare "chicha", a fermented yuca drink and if you like taste it Here you can buy also handicraft made by the Indians. in the Afternoon Hanging Bridges Tour.
    Dinner and overnight

    Day 4: Jardin Aleman Amazon
    Breakfast. You start your jungle hike at 9.00 a.m. Your native guide will explain the typical plants of this area and their daily use. See banana, coffee, coco and much more. During you hike you pass through a labyrinth of high rocks with caves and amazing vegetation. Lunch at the Lodge. In the afternoon at 3.00 p.m. you will walk along the Misahualli river to the small village of Pununo where we cross a suspended bridge over and enter the territory of the Indian Community of "Alto Pununo". See how the Indian live and work. Continue to the bridge of the Pununo river and go back to on the left shore of the Misahualli river to the Pununo Community. Back to Lodge.Dinner and overnight.

    Day 5: Jardin Aleman - Quito 

    Breakfast. Our representative will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to the hotel in Quito. Overnight.

    Day 6: Quito - USA
    Breakfast. Our representative will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to the airport. Fly back home.
