Day 1: San Jose
Our representative will welcome you to Costa Rica and escort you to get your rented vehicle. Rest of the day free at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight.
Day 2: San Jose – Manuel Antonio
Drive to Manuel Antonio. Driving time is 5 hours approximately. Overnight.(B)
" The Manuel Antonio National Park and beach was designated as one by the efforts and interest of the people of Quepos. This is one of the few national parks of Costa Rica to be designated by the locals! Manuel Antonio and Quepos are located in the Central Pacific Coast and are accessible by road ( 3 1/2 hours) or by plane ( 25 minutes ). Manuel Antonio National Park has 2 of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in the country. It is a romantic place of incredible beauty surrounded by a lush rainforest which imitates paradise. Besides enjoying the sun and sea, there are good trails where you can see white-faced monkeys, sloths, coatimundis and other animals and birds. It is a perfect place to spend the day, enjoying the sun and beach, or just lying down in the shade of a tropical tree watched by shy iguanas! Manuel Antonio and the town of Quepos offer different places for dinning or for having fun at night. You can also take different tours, like horseback riding, rafting, sunset cruises, sport fishing and many others... "
Day 3: Manuel Antonio
After breakfast your will be taken to the Titi Canopy Tour at Rancho Casa Grande. This tour can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Everyone will travel on suspension cables from platform to platform while enjoying the moist tropical forest teaming with wildlife. The cables and harnesses were designed by expert engineers and the ride is completely safe. The steel cables are ½ inch thick, and the 14 platforms can hold up to 2,000 pounds for your safety. The 11 cables total over 1,500 meters - over 1 mile! Ride through the canopy of the primary and secondary forest where you will see many different types of animals, birds and plants.Overnight. (B)
Day 4: Manuel Antonio (Rafting Adventure)
Early morning, after breakfast your will be taken to the Naranjo River for your white river rafting adventure. Overnight. (B)
“Naranjo River, a Class III / IV half day challence for more experienced paddlers. The Naranjo drops steeply from the mountains above Quepos, though a beautiful jungle gorge and takes you on a wild ride to sea level passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations. Water levels can rise quickly on this river upping the difficulty and adrenaline levels, so rafters should be physically fit and adventurous. Fruits, snacks midway included.”
Day 5: Manuel Antonio – San Jose
Morning at leisure. We recommend to visit Manuel Antonio National Park. Prepare to drive back to San Jose considering the driving time will be 5 hours approximately. Overnight in San Jose. (B)
Day 6: San Jose - USA
You will drive to San Jose Airport to drop your car and take your flight back home.(B)
