Day 1: San Jose
Our representative will welcome you to Costa Rica and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 : San Jose Tortuguero
Very early in the morning, the excursion will take you by bus to the Caribbean lowlands and later by boat to Tortuguero. You will be having breakfast on the way. Arrive at your lodge. In the afternoon your tour guide will be taking you to the town of Tortuguero. Overnight. (B, L, D)
DAY 3: Tortuguero- San Jose
The highlight of Tortuguero will be an early boat drive through the narrow canals of the National Park in the search of caymans, sloths, toucans, turtles and monkeys. You will be delighted and comfortable while enjoying nature at its best! Returning to the lodge breakfast will be served. After breakfast the trip will continue by boat back to Matina and after lunch in Rio Danta you will drive to San Jose. (arrival at 4:30 p.m.) Overnight in San Jose.(B,L)
Day 4: San Jose- Arenal
After breakfast a shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotel for your transfer to the Arenal Volcano Area. Once there you will visit the Tabacon Hot Springs located at the Tabacon Lodge. You can enjoy the hot springs as well as the eruptions of this very active volcano at night. Overnight. (B)
Day 5: Arenal- Manuel Antonio
After breakfast the shuttle bus transportation will be taking you to the Central Pacific Coast. It is a very pleasant drive through the mountains and later by the coast way. The rest of the afternoon will be free to enjoy the beach, the sunset or the swimming pool of your hotel. The hotel Playa Espadilla has its own Rainforest Reserve and trails to hike with lots of chances to see monkeys and wildlife. Overnight. (B)
Day 6: Manuel Antonio
Today you will have time to enjoy the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park. This park has 2 of the most beautiful white sand beaches of the Pacific Coast and nice trails for hiking and for nature observance. (Closed on Mondays) Overnight.(B)
Day 7: Manuel Antonio San Jose
The morning will be free at your own leisure. You can enjoy the beach only 50 meters away from your hotel. In the afternoon the shuttle bus will be taking you back to San Jose. Overnight. (B)
Day 8: San Jose - USA
Our representative will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport at the indicated time.(B)
