Day 1: Rio de Janeiro
Upon arrival our representative will meet and escort you to the hotel. Balance of day at leisure.
Day 2: Rio de Janeiro
Brazilian Breakfast. We will pick up at your hotel at 7:30am (Approx).After a beautiful scenic ride along the Rodrigo da Freitas Lagoon, and getting through the Tijuca Forest, you will arrive at the bottom of the Corcovado hill where you will embark on a comfortable bus which climb the beautiful mountain (710 mts), where the Statue of the Christ the Redeemer overlooks the city. From there you can enjoy one of the most majestic vie of Rio the Janeiro. The continues visiting the highlights of Rio, The Maracana Stadium, the Sambodromo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Historic center, Downtown Rio and the Beautiful beaches of Flamengo and Botafogo. This tour also includes a typical Brazilian style lunch at one the Churrascaria Rodizio in Copacabana. After lunch , the tour continues to the other symbols of Rio, The Sugar Loaf. A two-stage cable car brings you atop famous Sugar Loaf Mountain where you will enjoy unique postcard view of Guanabara Bay, Copacabana Beach and the Corcovado Mountain and The Christ. Day 3 & 4 : Rio de Janeiro
Brazilian Breakfast.Days at leisure to explore this fascinating city or relax on the beach during the day and enjoy the Big Carnival Party during the night. We suggest to take some of our "Optional tours from Rio" . (B)

Carnival in Rio, Brazil's world-renowned celebration, takes place 40 days before Easter, just preceding Lent. Every February crowds gather on the Marques de Sapucai Avenue to view the Parade of samba school dancers, which for months meticulously prepare their shows featuring thousands of dancers in extravagant costumes, music, song, and elaborated decoration. The Parade deigns at 9PM and ends around 7AM. Enjoy one of the marvelous attractions of the world. During the day you can explore Rio or relax on the pristine water & white sanded beaches of Copacabana. |
