Day 1: Buenos Aires
Upon arrival our representative will meet and escort you to the hotel. Balance of day at leisure.
Day 2: Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Morning city tour includes visits to the beauty and wonders of Buenos Aires, view the National Congress, The Metropolitan Cathedral next to the Government House in may square area. Admire the Colon Theater, one of the most important opera houses in Latin America. Visit San Telmo, traditional neighborhood where Tango performances can be seen in many bars and restaurants. Stop at La Boca colorful neighborhood, which was, seat of immigrants - manly Italians - and now home of some artists. Enjoy Palermo, an area that combines its architecture and history with entertainment and amusement in its green spaces. Finally, La Recoleta, an exclusive and elegant neighborhood where the famous cementery is found. Although it may seem unusual, fashionable restaurants, bars, cafes, discos and a cinema complex also surround the area. Afternoon at leisure. (B)
Day 3 : Buenos Aires
Breakfast.Today you will enjoy a full day visit to a typical Estancia (Ranch) of the Argentinean wet pampas, one of the most fertile natural prairies of the world and famous for its meat and cereal production. This tour is the ideal opportunity to absorb the atmosphere of the country life at a really colorful Argentine feast in the Pampas. You will be welcomed with local Argentinean food - empanadas, asado (Beef BBQ), fine Argentinean wines and live entertainment by “Gauchos” in their typical dress, customs and ways, singing and dancing to folklore music, including comedy and tango shows, tango lessons and a show of Creole skill.
Day 4 : Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Day at leisure to stroll the districts of Recoleta, Palermo, La Boca, Florida street and Puerto Madero. You can also experience shopping in Buenos Aires at the various shopping centers in the area, such as Galerias Pacifico, Alto Palermo, Patio Bulrich and Paseo Alcorta. We suggest to take any of our Optional Tours and Activities in Buenos Aires. Evening Tango Show at Tango Porteno; The golden decade shines once again at Tango Porteño, where the golden age of the forties is recreated; It is unquestionably known as the reign of the tango, the great Argentinean passion.
Here you will travel through time in the glory days of Buenos Aires when tango was enjoyed and breathed in every corner of the city. Tango Porteño is a marvelous space where all the stars of the Golden Age of Tango live together. During the magical decade the great orchestras of Canaro, Fresedo, Piazzolla, De Caro, Gobbi, Biagi, De Angelis, Di Sarli, D´Arienzo, Lomuto, D´Agostino, and of course the unforgettable both Troilo and Pugliese developed to their full potential in a wholesome but demanding rivalry and challenged each other at the Chanteclair, Marabú, Tabaris, Tibidabo and many other ballrooms. The meticulous scenery and costumes at the Tango Porteño create the ultimate framework to transport you to that enchanting time when all Buenos Aires was Tango - an unforgettable experience.
Day 5: Buenos Aires
