Day 1: Belize City – San Pedro (Ambergris Caye)

Upon arrival at Belize International Airport, connect to your flight to San Pedro, and transfer to Sunbreeze hotel on your own. Remainder of the day at leisure. You will have daily continental breakfast.

Day 2 : Ambergris Caye  - Lamani Mayan Ruins 

Today we will enjoy Lamani Mayan Ruins. Lamani in Mayan means Submerged Crocodile. It features the second largest preclassic structure in the Mayan world. In front of one temple stands a 13-foot stone mask of a Maya king. The ruins protected status provides for an abundance of wildlife inside the park. There are at least four families of howler monkeys. In addition, the marshlands around the lagoon support many species of water birds. The onsite museum contains a number of impressive artifacts. There are restrooms and a covered picnic area available for visitors. This is one of the most interesting tours from Belize City. We will take a boat, starting with pickup at the hotel pier, light continental breakfast is offered on the boat, taken up the Belize River and then transferred by land from Bomba Village to Tower Hill Village whereby you a transfer on another boat through the Northern River to the site. Along New River leading into swamps, little creeks and lagoons, it is easy to encounter hawks, kites, and falcons. You may spot the dainty jacanas lightly walking on the Iily pads, while the crocodiles bask In the morning sun. After an hour and a half on the river you arrive at Lamanai. Huge masks depicting dead rulers and gods seem to materialize out of the rain forest, amid the chatter of birdlife and the haunting call of the howler monkeys. Your guide will point out the Copal and Ramon trees, which were of great importance in ancient times. We spend 2 hours in the site. Lunch, refreshments and park fee included. Take money to purchase souvenirs. In addition to the ruin you get to see much fauna and wildlife on this trip. Trip leaves 7 am and ends at approximately 5 pm.




Day 3:  Belize - Snorkeling in Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley

Continental breakfast in the hotel. Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley are approximately 4 miles southeast of SunBreeze Hotel. It is the single most popular day trip from San Pedro, perfect for snorkeling. Hol Chan is Mayan for little channel. The entire reserve focuses on a cut through the reef (called a quebrada) which is little more than 25 yards wide and 30 feet deep. Over 160 species of fish have been identified in the reserve, along with nearly 40 species of corals, 5 sponges, 8 algaes, 2 sea grasses, 3 marine mammals and 3 species of sea turtle. Annexed to Hol Chan is Shark Ray Alley. Nurse Sharks and Rays have a great tolerance for snorkelers and seem to enjoy the human interaction. Departs at 9 am and returns between 11:30 am - 12 pm. Includes water and sodas. We recommend swim wear and light clothing, and bring sunblock, sun shades, towel, snorkeling gear.

Day 4:  Belize - Jungle Zipline and Cave Tubing 
This wonderful excursion begins as we make our way towards the mainland and up the Old Belize River. Once in the River, we will serve a light breakfast while you encounter wildlife such as crocodiles, iguanas and howler monkeys. When we reach Manatee Lookout, we board a private bus with a guide who takes you to Jaguar Paw. At Jaguar Paw, you travel through the jungle to the zipline, where you climb to the first platform. From there you zip through the dense tropical rainforest canopy in eight different stages. After about an hour and a half, you return to the resort lunch. After lunch, your guide takes you along a 40 minute jungle trail up to the entrance to Xibalba caves. Then it is time to put on your head lamps, and inner tubes and splash into the cool water and be amazed as you glide through the amazing caves filled with stalactites, stalagmites, and crystals. Caves were once the worship temples of the Mayas. Departs at 7 am and returns approximately 5:30 pm. Pick up and drop off at SunBreeze Hotel dock. Includes: Breakfast, lunch, beer, sodas, rum punch and snacks. We recommend wear sturdy strap on slippers, caps or hats, and bring change of clothing, sun shades, sun block, diet product and camera.

Day 5 to 7: Ambergris Caye
Continental breakfast in the hotel. Days at leisure to enjoy this beautiful beach resort

Day 8: San Pedro – Belize - USA ..
Breakfast. Transfer back the airport at the indicated time for your flight back home.(B)
