      DETAILED ITINERARY:
       
     

    Day 1: Lima 
    Upon arrival, our representatives will meet and escort you to your hotel.

    Day 2:
     Lima - City Tour

    Breakfast. Relax for a panoramic city tour of Colonial Lima, including a visit to the Main Square, located in the heart of downtown to view the Government Palace, the Town Hall, the Bishops Palace with its beautiful balconies and the Cathedral of Lima, where you will visit inside. Its outstanding features are the choirstalls, the Churrigueresque Chapel of the Immaculate, the main altar and a Christ made of carved ivory. On the right is the crypt with remains of conqueror Francisco Pizarro. You will pass by the church and convent of San Francisco, considered to be the most important religious monument of Lima, built in 1542 in Baroque style and consecrated in 1673. Your drive through Lima will pass by several Colonial squares, churches and mansions, then you will continue to the Modern Districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, for a glimpse of life in this huge city, as well as its beautiful parks, modern buildings and great ocean views.(B)  

    Day 3: Lima - Cusco
    Very early this morning you will board a flight to the imperial Peruvian city of Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, mid-morning, transfer to your hotel. Take the remainder of the morning to nap or relax as you adjust to Cuscos high altitude. In the afternoon your guided tour of the Inca Royal City of Cusco starts in the very impressionable Central Square, known as the "Plaza de Armas," which is surrounded by a beautiful stone arcade. In the Plaza is the Cathedral, which is exceptional because of its contrasts of styles. The outside façade is in Renaissance style, in contrast to its Baroque and plateresque style of its interiors. The Church of the Society of Jesus, (commonly known as the Jesuits), is highlighted by its carved stone façade and its large alter carved in cedar, plated in gold. The Covent of Santo Domingo was built above the most important Inca Temple, the Temple of the Sun, or "Koricancha," as it was known in the Inca language Quechua. Gold laminas or sheets covered the original Inca Temple walls. Near the City of Cusco, you will visit the extraordinary Inca Fortress Sacsayhuaman, made up of three gigantic terraces, superimposed in a zigzag form, and surrounded by enormous walls of rock, some of which are up to 300 meters in length.Qenqo, was a religious center formed by a singular flowering of calcareous rock. It has underground galleries and a semicircular amphitheater with a series of stone seats. Puca Pucará or the "Red Fort" was military base made up of stone stairways, terraces, and walls. Nearby is Tambomachay, well known as "Baths of the Incas", a place dedicated to the cult of the water, formed by aqueducts, channels and small cascades worked in the rock. (B)


    Day 4: Cusco-Machu Pichu-Cusco
    Today you will  travel to Machu Picchu  you will take a train ride from Cusco to Aguas Calientes, followed by a motor-coach transfer to Machu Picchu. Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to San Pedro Station to take a three-hour train ride along the Urubamba River to the Aguas Calientes Station. By minibus you will climb the switchback road up to the ruins of Machu Picchu. "Discovered" in 1911, Machu Picchu, called the Lost City of the Incas, represents the cultural heritage of mankind. It is a stone city constructed by incredibly sophisticated techniques, even in present-day terms. Stone upon stone are fitted together perfectly without cement, with exquisite detail worthy of the worlds greatest palaces. After a guided visit to the ruins, you will have a box lunch , transferring back to Aguas Calientes for the train ride back to Cusco. (B,L)  

    Day 5: Cusco-Lima-Quito 
    Breakfast. At Indicated time transfers to the Airport to  fly to Ecuador. Upon Arrival Greeting and transfers to your hotel. Overnight .


    Day 6: 
    Quito - The Original Quito City Tour in Trolley + Authentic Middle of the World Tour

    After Breakfst. we will visit the historic center, the largest and best preserved in South America, in one of our original trolleys, which are a replica of the trams that circulated in Quito in the last century.
     
    Visit to the Basilica del Voto Nacional Church, where we will make a brief stop for an explanation of its facade, to later move towards the Panecillo viewpoint, an iconic place in the city, renowned for its beauty, and where is a giant statue of the "Winged Virgin", where you can admire a beautiful landscape of colonial and modern Quito. Later we will continue to the Plaza de San Francisco, one of the representative places of the city and full of history, from where we will walk to the Plaza Grande, historical and political center of the city, surrounded by innumerable attractions including: the Cathedral, the Palace of Government, the Archbishops Palace and the La Compañía church.
     
    We continue our tour meeting the traditional La Ronda neighborhood, in whose romantic setting we can find workshops where our visitors will learn with a group of authentic artisans, how their works are elaborated, and trades of yesteryear that keep alive the cultural traditions of this charming city, in this emblematic street you will have the opportunity to visit an ice cream shop where you can find very traditional flavors of Ecuador, as well as a visit to one of the artisan workshops: panamá hats or joinery or tinwork or products made from honey bee. (Entrance to churches are not included). 
     
    We will stop at the “Zona Rosa” of the city, approximately an hour and a half to have free time for lunch (not included), and later we continue with our excursion “Authentic Middle of the World Tour”.
     
    We go to the "Middle of the World City", where you can see the monument that divides the northern hemisphere from the southern hemisphere of the planet. It was built during the XVII century when a French Expedition defined the precise location of the equatorial line that divides the world and it is a must-see place for those who visit Quito. Includes entrance to the Middle of the World complex ,where you can live experiences that defy the laws of physics and occur only in this part of the world. After visiting this privileged place and registering it in your passport, you will always see Ecuador and the Middle of the World in a different way.

     Day 7: Quito -Urban Legends of Quito at Night

    Breakfast.  At indicated time we begin in the northern part of the city with a tour along the most important commercial areas, where you can find most of Quitos hotels and nightlife. Then we head to the historic center to admire the spectacle of the churches and historic buildings illuminated and its main tourist attractions. (Tickets not included). 
     
    The tour continues to the Mirador del Panecillo, recognized for its beauty, where you can delight with a beautiful view of colonial and modern Quito, you can enjoy a small tasting of traditional canelazo quiteño and empanada.
     
    During the tour, you can get to know the people who live in this city better, you will be able to recognize them by their way of speaking, thinking, and to visit our city, as our guide will tell you about urban legends that are part of the history of Quito and that are a tradition and the cultural heritage of the people of Quito (Wednesday to  Saturday)
    At the end of the tour, passengers may choose optionally for one of the recommended night entertainment places, or to have dinner in one of our recommended restaurants (return to the hotel, by the passenger & Dinner not included ).

    Day 8: Quito -Otavalo Indigenous Market, Cotacachi & Cuicocha Tour (Tuesday & Saturday)
    After Breakfast, Departure from our designated hotels in Quito through the Pan-American North Highway until arriving to Cayambe, where the passengers will have the opportunity to taste the delicious “Bizcochos de Cayambe”, a type of cracker or bread baked in a clay oven (greatly paired with local cheese or caramel sauce).  After admiring Lake San Pablo, we will arrive at the Otavalo Market, the largest in America, where the indigenous people of the area, known as "Otavalos", one of Ecuadors most recognized ethnic groups, make and sell their textiles and handicrafts. 
     
    Passengers may choose between to stay in this area and enjoy more time from the market and our bus will pick them up at the end of the tour (they will not have the visit to Cotacachi and Cuicocha), or continue with the journey to the town of Cotacachi, recognized for leather clothing and crafts. On the way to Cotacachi, we will visit an andean instrument workshop "Ñanda Mañachi" located in the area of Peguche, to spend some special moments with the local people and understand the Andean culture.
     
    In Cotacachi you have enough time to visit the village, the shops of leather goods and free time for lunch, (not included).
     
    Later we will visit the Ecological Reserve where the Cuicocha lagoon is located, inside the crater of the Cotacachi Volcano, which originated after a volcanic explosion thousands of years ago. And if the weather permits it will be possible to make a walk by the lagoon, that is to say sailing in the crater of the volcano in small boats (with additional cost).
     
    ** Bus will wait for 10 minutes in Otavalo to pick up passengers that stayed there, and after that will return to Quito and their respective hotels or starting point.
     
    Day 9: Quito - Baltra 

     
     
       
      Unravel the mysteries of the ancient Inca Empire on this fascinating tour. Travel from Lima into the heart of the Andes and the charming colonial town of Cusco. You will have the opportunity to explore Cusco and its nearby ruins , then take a train ride to join one of our expert local guides to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu.
